| Memoriam to Jason Allen Hain Today it's raining on the meadow, Where you and I had so much fun Flowers bloomed and birds were singing From light of dawn till set of sun Now you're gone from the meadow The birds no longer sing The spring is missing from my footsteps And my heart no longer rings Dark clouds are gathering over my head They hide the sun and chill the day And shroud the night Since you went away In my lonely room I'm crying Tears I've never shed before Staring at the walls And wishing you'd walk thru the door How I wish that you could see How my heart just aches and breaks all day How I wish you could come back and take away This ribbon of darkness over me You still walk the fertile fields of my mind Grandpa |
A proud member of the United State Air Force On Sunday, Febuary 18, 2001, Jason had been speaking with his father about the untimely death of Dale Earnhardt. A few minutes later Jason was invovled in a fatal accident. Jason was on his way to work when he was hit head on by a drunk driver. The drunk driver was travelling the opposite direction on the interstate when his vehicle struck Jason. Jason died instantly at 9:45 pm.
